10 Best Local Coffee Shops in Nashville, TN

Nashville is a vibrant and active city with tons of opportunities. Coffee shops play a crucial role in the social life of this city. Every city has a list of places to eat and drink, but not every city has the best coffee shops. In this case, Nashville offers a diverse selection of coffee shops that showcase the local culture.

So what are the best coffee shops in Nashville? It’s hard to find a single one that’s objectively “best,” but these are some of the most notable coffee shops in Nashville you will definitely love.

1. Steadfast Coffee

603 Taylor St, Nashville, TN 37208

Steadfast Coffee is located in the bustling Germantown neighborhood off Taylor Street. They roast their own coffee and have a full lunch, dinner, and cocktail program, too. Important note: it’s tucked away behind the ProVita building, so you won’t see it from the street.

2. Crema, Coffee Roasters

15 Hermitage Ave, Nashville, TN 37204

Crema, located in the SoBro neighborhood and just a short walk from Lower Broadway, is serious about its in-house coffee program and has a passion that's contagious. Not only is Crema a popular coffee shop, but is also committed and invested in making and roasting quality coffee for the city. They're even teaching coffee classes, which really is awesome. Try the coffee soda.

3. 8th & Roast

2108 8th Ave S., Nashville, TN, 37204 | 4104 Charlotte Ave. Nashville, TN, 37209 | Nashville Airport at Concourse D

8th & Roast has a fairly small food menu, but it's still diverse. It includes breakfast items, sandwiches, and wraps for lunch. (They also offer a fantastic brunch, but that’s only on weekends.) Though they are pretty popular items lately, the “killer b’s” of biscuit and burrito are really solid thanks to the addition of spicy chorizo, fresh sausage, and bacon.
