The event will transition to the tree lighting around 7:15 pm after the parade with live entertainment, the announcement of parade winners, and Santa lighting Columbia’s 40’ Christmas tree on the Courthouse Square!

London’s Lights

Traditional Christmas lights display in honor of London, a toddler who was hit by a tragic accident in 2012. This is a Middle Tennessee’s dad touching tribute to her daughter where each year he creates a massive light display that is known in the midstate and beyond. Santa Claus will also be in the area on the 3rd, 4th, 17th, 18th, and 24th of December! Guests are also invited to bring toys that will be donated to kids at Monroe Carrell Jr’s Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. Admission is free.
Christmas on the Cumberland

Christmas on the Cumberland is by the City of Clarksville where you can create lasting memories this holiday season and experience the captivating displays of over one million lights! This year’s family-friendly grand opening includes a visit from Santa and free hot chocolate! There will also be food from the food trucks available to purchase on the site. You can also bring your pet, however, they aren’t allowed in the stage/audience areas during the lighting ceremony or during public performances.

"Fire Up the Holidays" is the theme for this year. Director of Public Safety for Rutherford County Chris Clark is the grand marshal.For the event, which will take place after dark, all parade participants are asked to decorate their automobiles, floats, or signs with lights.
