New Developments in Nashville, TN

Nashville is constantly growing and changing. There's never a dull moment in Music City. No matter what neighborhood, there's always a new development or major renovation taking place, making this city undoubtedly one of the fastest-growing cities, not only in Tennessee but in the entire country. 

This is great news because it will attract more people in business and entertainment, making Nashville an even better place to live, work, or visit. Here are some of the new and upcoming developments in the Nashville and Middle Tennessee area.

 

1. Haven at The Gulch

Haven at The Gulch is an 11-story building with 299 residential units set to open this fall. The apartment complex features exceptional views of the downtown Nashville skyline with expansive 9-foot ceilings, premium amenities, and modern designs.

 

2. Amazon Juno

 It was three years ago when Amazon planned to invest in a new office in Nashville with plans to create more than 5,000 corporate and tech jobs in the city. The first of the two office buildings at Nashville Yards is now built. When the second tower is complete in 2023, Amazon Nashville will provide more than 1 million square feet of collaborative office space.

 

3. Rutledge Flats

Located in the south of Broadway within downtown Nashville, Rutledge Flats is set to rise as an 8-story, 174 micro-unit apartment building. Every unit will be fully-furnished and have its own bathroom and amenity area and rent that includes wireless internet and various utilities. The project is expected to open in November 2022.

 

4. Alcove

A residential skyscraper located in the urban core of Nashville. Alcove will stand 34-stories tall and house 356 units. The building features exciting amenities including a rooftop game room, pools, and communal spaces.

 

5. Gibson Residences

The Gibson Residences will replace the former Gibson Guitar property on Church Street. The mixed-use development features a 21-story residential and retail tower with 380 units. Gibson Residences is said to have community amenities which include a pool, a fitness center, and a business center. The tower is set for completion in 2023.

 

6. Modera Gulch

In addition to its emerging presence in Nashville, Mill Creek Residential is set to develop Modera Gulch, a luxury mixed-use community in the Gulch neighborhood. Modera Gulch stands 15-stories tall along Division Street in downtown Nashville with unobstructed views of the city. Move-ins are anticipated for late 2022.

 

7. Nell

The Nell building is a residential development set to rise in January 2023 located near Pie Town. It was reported that the building will offer 78 units for purchase residences, 8,000 square feet of office space, and 87 parking spaces.

 

8. Ballpark Village

Ballpark Village is reported to be 7-stories tall with 356 apartments and 17,000 square feet of retail space. Ballpark Village will be anchored by a large public plaza located at the corner of the building. The building will be the first large-scale development overlooking the outfield at First Horizon Park according to Nashville Now Next.

 

9. Peabody Union

Located high on the banks of the Cumberland River, Peabody Union will be a distinctly unique Nashville neighborhood and destination, offering a new and different perspective on downtown life. The development will be mixed-used featuring residential and office space surrounded by acres of open space. Peabody Union is set to complete its development in 2024.

 

10. Mill Ridge Park

Mill Ridge Park will be one of Nashville’s newest Regional Park. The 600-acre property is located in Southeast Davidson County near Cane Ridge High School. The park will be anchored by Nashville’s largest destination playground and a large event lawn for festivals and events. It will also feature picnic shelters, restrooms, and fitness equipment for the community to enjoy.

 

11. Ravenwood Regional Park

Situated on a major bend in the Stones River, Ravenwood Park will be Nashville’s next regional park. The park is uniquely surrounded by four miles of scenic river frontage, a few miles from downtown. The 800-acre park features nature trails, sports fields, playgrounds, and open spaces for picnic and community events.

 

12. Sevier Park

In 2014, the construction of the new Sevier Park Community Center was completed. By 2021, Metro Parks funding was allocated to complete the design work and fund the construction of Sevier Park. Construction will begin in Spring 2022 and will approximately take one year to complete.
