ABOUT GREENBRIER, TN

Greenbrier is located in Robertson County, Tennessee. The county itself has about 72,000 people. Population-wise, Greenbrier has about 7000 people so about 10% of the Robertson County population lives in Greenbrier, Tennessee. 

Greenbrier is only 6.6 sq miles, so it's not super huge. US Route 41 is the main road that runs through the town. It is southeast of Springfield, Tennessee and northwest of Goodlettsville. Also, just a little bit over to the east you'll find White House, Tennessee.

If you're looking to live in Robertson County, those are a couple of other good options. 

The median income in Greenbrier is $70,000. For activities, you might have to kind of go somewhere else, but there is a Louise Martin Memorial Park if you want to go take a quick walk and do a few things at the park and there is the Oak Hills Golf Course if you want to enjoy your golf game without having to leave the city.

LIVING IN GREENBRIER, TN

Most of the main businesses are located on US Route 41. There are some local restaurants that you might want to check out. You've got Golly G‘s Coffee, Ice Cream, and Sweets, Granny's Breyer Patch, Jose's Mexican restaurant, Makoto Japanese restaurant, and Church Street Chicken and Barbecue. Those are just a few of the locally owned restaurants. 

You do have a number of different fast food restaurants and things that you would typically see Pizza Hut, Godfather's Pizza, Sonic Drive-In,both on the main strip and also off of it. Many of the businesses are small family-owned, local-only businesses So there is a lot of really cool stuff going on in Greenbrier that you might not see elsewhere.

You can see a few of the neighborhoods just off US Route 41 in the video. In case you are curious about what Greenbrier looks like. Some other cities close by include Millersville and just to the west is Ridge Top. So if country living is for you there are other options close by.

For a little bit more information about Greenbrier, Tennessee you can visit Niche.com. Niche shows that Greenbrier is ranked 19th in the best places to buy a house in the Nashville area. Overall, it gets a B- score. 

You'll see that most of the things that Niche.com looks at are in the B area. From B- to B+. Everything from public schools to housing to being a good place for families to jobs, the cost of living, outdoor activities, crime and safety, diversity and weather. It gets a C+  for nightlife, and for health and fitness, and a C- for the commute. 

It is about 23 miles north of downtown Nashville but a lot of people commute from Greenbrier to Nashville.
